RED REEDED SIDE TABLE
A rustic Chinese solid wood side table with a reeded detail on the legs and a hand carved abstract motif in the centre of each side. Crafted from solid hardwood with an original red lacquer, the table reflects the design of late-Qing to early-Republic domestic furniture. Circa China, early 1900s.
The tables surface shows a beautifully aged patina, where layers of worn red and black lacquer create a natural distressed texture. A great way to add character to a space.
