MEDIUM FRENCH CORKSCREW PLINTH
A French twisted column wine press with an octagonal base provides. The piece is both functional and decorative, as it serves as a plinth for displaying objects.
The carved column shows natural age-related shrinkage with small splits and openings throughout the wood. These are consistent with age and contribute to the characterful appearance. A few marks on the top but overall in good vintage condition.
