GLASS WROUGHT IRON LANTERN
A striking small hanging lantern crafted from metal with elegantly scrolled detailing that frames each side. The tapered body is fitted with textured glass panels that softly diffuse light.
Sourced from Belgium, the lantern features an interesting variation in its decorative metalwork, with one pair of opposing sides displaying broader, more open scrolls, while the other pair features tighter, more compact scrollwork.
This subtle asymmetry adds to the lantern's handcrafted character. Please refer to the second photograph for detail.
Overall good vintage condition.
This has been re-wired and require a bayonet bulb.
