FREDERIC WEINBERG STACKING DINING CHAIRS

A set of four mid century Frederic Weinberg dining chairs, dating from the 1950s. Each chair has a slender black lacquered wrought iron frames and wicker seats and fan-shaped backs. The wicker has a subtle glossy finish, likely a varnish that has been added for protection.

Frederic Weinberg (1915-2018) was a Philadelphia-based artist and industrial designer. During the 1950s, he designed, manufactured and sold a range of decorative furniture and objects through his company, Frederic Weinberg Co.

A great example of post-war American design. Each chair has weight and are in great condition. On some of the corners, there is some wear, see last photos, but aside from this, they are in great vintage condition. Felt pads have been added to the legs.

These are stackable.
