BRASS SHELL HAMMERED SCONCES
This pair are in superb condition and stamped by Firma Lars Holmström, in Arvika in Sweden. This pair of sconces are highly sought after and they resemble a subtle shell shape. The brass is in excellent condition.
Holmström, 1894 - 1959, was a Swedish blacksmith was known to make candlesticks and chandeliers, and was recognised in many French art magazines in the 20s for his beautiful pieces and craftsmanship. The elegance and beauty of this pair have stood the test of time and look stunning with a pair of slim candles.
They fit 1.2cm candles with some tape around the base so they sit securely in the candle holder.
