ART DECO TABLE LAMP
An early Art Deco table lamp, with a sculptural form, with warm yellow glass and polished chrome bordering.
The design bears an exact resemblance to the pendant used in the Kraus Apartment in Plzeň, Czechia, completed in 1931, by Adolf Loos (1870-1933) a critically acclaimed Austrian-Czechoslovak architect.
This has been professionally converted into a table lamp with a twisted flex and inline switch.
Whilst the exact maker of this piece remain unconfirmed, it is a wonderful example of early Art Deco design.
There is some slight fading on some elements on the chrome but overall this is in great vintage condition.
Measures H approximately 33 x diameter 22 x 22cm
