ANTIQUE CAMPHOR WOOD STORAGE CHEST
A stunning large storage chest / trunk that dates back to the early 1900s. The piece is made of camphor wood and has a carved oval border around the edge and it sits on stepped feet. On either side, there are shell like details and the top opens smoothly. The chest is an ample piece of storage and would be ideal to store linens, bedding, toys etc.
On its condition, as the wood has warped the latch doesn't snap into place and there is slight gap between the top to the bottom. There are a few subtle marks on the top but overall this is a quality piece of antique furniture.
