70S CREAM SUEDE MODULAR LOUNGE CHAIR – ONE
A vintage German lounge chair with suede upholstery and a lacquered wooden frame, finished in a rich dark stain. The frame broad square legs create a nice contrast against the sculptured cushion. Upholstered in a warm camel / beige coloured suede, the chair had a deeply padded seat and angled backrest and is extremely comfortable.
The chair reflects the influence of Scandinavian and Italian modern furniture in the 70s and 80s. The suede has signs of use, with light marks across, consistent with previous use. Please see photos.
